Danimals with LGG

The Dannon Company, Inc., White Plains, NY, has added Lactobacillus GG (LGG) to its Danimals line of low fat yogurt cups and drinks for kids. The LGG probiotic strain was developed by Finnish dairy and culture developer Valio Ltd. Clinically proven to survive passage through the digestive tract, LGG has been shown to positively influence the balance of “friendly” bacteria in the digestive tract. According to Dannon, the LGG probiotic strain helps promote intestinal and immune function and maintain oral health.
